मुल्लाह बनाम केंचुआ Mullah V/s Earthworm

मुल्लाह, साधु, पंडित, पादरी  आदि का मौजूदा मानव समाज के रचनात्मक विकास में केंचुए के योगदान से भी कम है. वह मिट्टी की उर्वरा को उन्नत ही नहीं करता वरन हजारो पक्षियों का पसंदीदा भोजन भी है. ओरगेनिक खेती ने केंचुओ की महत्ता को और अधिक स्थापित कर दिया है. पर्यावरण के संतुलन को कायम रखने में केंचुए की महती भूमिका है. लेकिन मुल्लाह, साधु, पादरी या पंडा इनका समाज के विकास में क्या योगदान है? इनके जीवन से क्या किसी देश की मिट्टी कभी उर्वरक हुई है ? क्या किसी देश के सकल उत्पाद में इनका कोई योगदान है? ये मात्र परजीवी है, फिलीपींस से लेकर अमेरिका जहां भी ये प्रजाति पायी जाती है इनके श्रम से कोई रचनात्मक उत्पादन कभी नहीं हुआ, इनसे बेहतर पृथ्वी पर केंचुए हैं जो इंसान के लिए एक बेहतर वातावरण तैयार करने में रात दिन जुटे हुए है. एक प्रबुद्ध समाज दाढ़ी की लम्बाई/तिलक की चौढ़ाई को के बरक्स उस व्यक्ति की  आर्थिक उपादेयता और उसके सामाजिक सरोकारों को महत्व देगा. मुल्लाह-पंडित-पादरी पालने से बेहतर है केंचुओ को पाला जाए, वह हर मायने में ज़्यादा मुफीद साबित होगा.

Beautiful earth worm is more productive than Mullah, Sadhu, Pastor or Pundit. It not only enriches the soil but most liked staple food for thousands of bird species. Organic farming has reinforced the importance of earth worm. Earth worm plays a vital role in maintaining the ecological balance of our planet. But what is the positive contribution of these Mullah, Pastors, Sadhus and Pundit in our social development? Has their presence ever improved the productivity of the soil in any country? Do they contribute anything in GDPs of any nation? They are just parasites. From Philippine to United States wherever they are found, has never contributed anything productive so far. I rate an earth worm better than these parasites that are creating positive conditions for human life. A just society will always recognise the services of a human being in terms of his economic and social contribution not by the length of his beard or wide Tilak at forehead. It would always be a better idea to pet few earth worms rather than giving alms to parasites of the society.
